Salma Hayek has posted an adorable throwback pic to celebrate JLo’s 54th birthday. The old photo shows the two posing together with a bunch of other A-Listers, including Jennifer’s now-husband, Ben Affleck.

It’s not the first time the two have shared an old pic showcasing their friendship on the ‘gram. A few years ago the Bliss actress shared a picture of herself and Jennifer Lopez at the 12th Annual IFP/West Independent Spirit Awards all the way back in 1997.

Taking to her 25.8 million Instagram followers, Salma Hayek shared a star-studded post, in which she’s wearing a plunging black dress with a bob haircut.

The pair smile for the cameras, and it seems like their youthful looks are still with them to this day! They can be seen posing next to stars including Susan Sarandon, Gael García Bernal, and Jennifer’s now husband, Ben Affleck.

In the caption, the actress wrote: “Happy birthday @jlo! Last night, out of the blue, I found this picture. I guess it meant I had to share it on your special day.

It made me think back to a time when they said we wouldn’t make it. Then they said we wouldn’t last. Keep shining chica and keep enjoying every second of it!”

Although the stars haven’t confirmed when the picture was taken, it would most likely have been taken during the time Bennifer first got together, between 2002-2004.

The couple then broke off their engagement, only to reunite and marry almost two decades later.

Fans say the duo ‘haven’t changed at all’

Upon seeing the throwback pic, which was taken in the days you couldn’t instantly upload snaps to the ‘gram, fans were in awe at how good the pair still look to this day.

“Legends celebrating legends,” wrote one.

“So beautiful, Happy Birthday JLo!” penned another.

Another commented: “Two Latina queens!”

“THIS IS SO GOOD FOR ME,” screamed another.

One fan wrote: “You haven’t changed at all. In fact, you look better than ever now.”

Lopez herself commented with a party face and three white heart emojis.

Taking to her own Instagram the day before she turned 54, the Jenny from the Block singer uploaded a snap of herself showing off her toned body which she captioned: “Getting ready to celebrate.”

She can be seen wearing a lacy underwear set, which she covers with a sleek patterned robe.

As she smiled for the camera, fans wished the star a Happy Birthday, as well as complimenting her on the ‘sexy’ look.

“You’re a goddess,” penned one.

“THE MOST BEAUTIFUL,” exclaimed another.
