Nick Kyrgios posts throwback picture of himself as a youngster to sum up pre-Wimbledon mood

Nick Kyrgios is one of the most active social media users on the tennis tour and often finds himself in trouble for it.

Kyrgios isn't shy and doesn't hold back when he sees fit to express how he is feeling.

Lately he has turned to using pictures to sum up just what he thinks. Before Queen's last week, Kyrgios captioned a photo of himself with: 'Pessimistic.'

With Wimbledon starting on Monday, the Australian posted a picture of himself on court from when he was growing up.

Proudly wearing a shirt bearing the legend of iconic hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, the world No 43 captioned the post: 'Wimbledon mood.'

Perhaps it was meant to explain his concern at possibly bumping into Novak Djokovic at SW19.

After all, Kyrgios decided again this week to poke fun at Djokovic. After the world No 1 had practiced at the Boodles at Stoke Park with Canadian Denis Shapovalov, Kyrgios commented on a picture of the pair.

'Did you chop him up,' Kyrgios said.
