Kai Havertz discloses what Arsenal dressing room was like after Aaron Ramsdale cock-up
Kai Havertz offered an insight into how Arsenal rallied behind Aaron Ramsdale after his nightmare error against Brentford.
The Gunners narrowly overcame Thomas Frank’s side 2-1 to ensure they were top of the Premier League before title rivals Liverpool and Manchester City faced off. In the first half, Mikel Arteta’s side were in full control courtesy off Declan Rice’s excellent header.
However, Ramsdale, who was filling in for the inelligble David Raya, took too long to kick the ball away, allowing Yoane Wissa to charge in and block the ball into the goal. Brentford then put up a tough fight, trying to grab a point from the match.

Luke Littler darts fans can back 'The Nuke' in Premier League with his playing shirt

Luke Littler fans can now buy the 17-year-old's playing shirt to support him as he continues to demonstrate his talent in the Premier League.
The darts sensation was only 16 when he wowed Alexandra Palace at the World Darts Championship (WDC), despite a final loss to Luke Humphries.
The Nuke will continue playing against seven of the best dart players in the world — Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Rob Cross and Peter Wright — in a mini-tournament in a different city every Thursday until the final in May.
But Arsenal weren't having it. Near the end of the game, Ben White whipped in a cross and Havertz glanced the ball into the net, making the fans at the Emirates go wild. Arsenal went on to win their eighth game on the trot reports the Mirror.
After the match, Havertz chatted with Sky Sports and shared what they all said during half-time to cheer up Ramsdale. "It wasn't nice especially when you concede so closely to the whistle," Havertz said.
"But we all spoke with each other then and made sure we rallied around each other because I don't think we'd deserved to concede but mistakes are part of the game. I had a few mistakes that could've led to goals so we wanted to turn it around, spoke to each other and showed a good mentality."

Havertz added: "It's a massive win for us. We were so desperate to get these three points and they're really big for us, and I think you could see that by our performance in the second half."
"We came in at halftime and we wanted to turn it around, we didn't play our best in the first half but to win it that way was even better." Arsenal are now top of the Premier League and sit one point above Liverpool and two ahead of City going into Sunday's blockbuster affair at Anfield.
With the Gunners without a Premier League game until March 30 now due to Chelsea's involvement in the FA Cup next weekend, it was vital they ended this period with a win.

"Yeah obviously it's always nice to have three points in the bag," Havertz continued.
"We've thought a lot about that in the dressing room before the match but of course we tried to focus on ourselves during the match because we can't change what the other teams are doing."
"Today was huge for us and we'll go into the next competition during the week and we'll look forward to that one."
